Where to put stuff - Please do shoes off inside. The carpets get dirty easily and it’s nice to keep sand out. - Coat rack for your hanging things and shoe rack in the entryway. - Plenty of space for clothing in the bedroom closet and dresser. - Shelving and medicine cabinet in the bathroom with lots of space. - Extra bedding and linens in the dining room closet and under the bed in primary bedroom. Kitchen - Coffee machine: there’s a Spinn coffee maker on the counter. It makes good coffee for a robot! Orange icons up top will tell you if something needs changing or replacing: coffee beans up top, water container in back, coffee ground container or drip tray. It can be a little complicated and needs cleaning occasionally, and if you don’t want to bother there’s also a French press! - Other coffee and tea: French press on shelf and pour over cup, filters, and tea bags above the sink. Water boiler on the counter. Coffee beans for you to enjoy. - When cooking on the stove put on the overhead fan from the microwave. Sometimes it can still get smoky enough to set off smoke detectors, just press the button on nearest smoke detector. Eeep! - You can make your own seltzer- soda steam cabinet left of sink. Canisters in fridge. Refill co2 left lower cabinet. - White trash bags, blue recycling bags, green compost bags under kitchen sink. Replace trash and recycle for extended stays, bins around house in back next to garage or inside gate (where your code also works.) Compost you can optionally empty to bin in yard. Food & drink - If it’s perishable, use it if you can! Anything in the fridge or pantry is fair game—use a lot of something useful please replace with something fun. - Any non-wine alcohol is also fair game just try to replace with similar on the way out. Different is fine/fun. Groups - Enjoy the space and enjoy it with people! No parties but you should enjoy with friends. Just tidy up after yourselves and keep it quiet-ish outside at night. - The deck is a great place to hang, but the supporting joists are over 100 years old. Keep movement on the deck kind of chill and to about 4 people. It’s noisy for downstairs so late night just go out front. - You can use the fire pit and gas grill in front, just remember to turn off the gas take when you are done. If you use a lot let me know so I can replace the gas. For cleaners: cleaning requests - Please wash linens dry, fold and place them under bed - Also wash any clothes in the laundry hamper in bedroom - Replace with new sheets and towels also under bed - Check indoor plant soil for dryness, water lightly. Outdoor plants are watered every Wednesday.
